Wooden doll | 05

We glue several rough blocks of wood together to form a single piece. This assembled block is then placed on the wood lathe. With a chisel in hand, we shape the spinning wood into a doll, each one different from the last. No two are alike in color, size, or shape. The light and dark accents in each doll result from the combination of different types of wood that come together to form a single, unique piece.

It’s so much fun to make them!
